Anchor Construction and Design is a construction company founded on basic principles and strong values. Our dedication to helping our client realize their vision is surpassed only by our commitment to integrity in craftsmanship. We understand that building a home is based upon trust between client, builder and the sub-contractor.


We will ensure that Anchor Construction and Design is the right builder for our client by establishing trust and a solid relationship of respect and integrity. We focus on being a selective builder that will always provide the maximum amount of attention on our clients. As a result, we will limit our number of clients to ensure a hands on experience for the clients. We will advocate fairly for both our clients and our subs. The products we create with our clients will be worthy of putting the Miller family name on. We will be fair when giving a price to our clients, and with making an honest profit.

VALUE ENGINEERING
Value engineering begins at the outset of the project and continues until project completion. We believe in getting everybody involved with the project during the conception phase to provide sound ideas to enhance the project and set realistic budget goals. Individuals involved in our value engineering (VE) sessions include: the owner, the architectural team, consultants (civil engineers, structural engineers, landscape engineers), construction management team, sub-contractors of various trades.

Honesty with our experience levels, the estimate and bidding process, scheduling, and cost.

STEP ONE

The first step in Anchor Custom Homes’ building process is establishing a strong, long-term relationship with the client to ensure a good fit. We stand by our work with a robust warranty, promising to come back and fix anything if needed, demonstrating our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

STEP TWO

Anchor Custom Homes operates on an open bidding business model, which we uniquely call the “Bid Book”. This highly detailed bidding process eliminates surprises and sets us apart from others, with every cost backed by solid evidence, making us the most affordable builders with no overhead, ultimately resulting in cheaper costs for our clients.

STEP THREE

The third step in the Anchor Custom Homes building process involves drawing up a contract, making a deposit, and initiating the permit process. From this point forward, Anchor takes over everything, providing a clear schedule to keep clients informed and ensure a smooth, transparent construction journey.

President
Over 20 years of Construction Management Experience. Has successfully overseen the construction of over 300 residences. Has development, design and construction experience with custom residential and multi-family developments. Has built several commercial buildings and also managed numerous remodels, tenant improvement jobs, and professional buildings.

BENJAMIN MILLER

Marketing & Project Management
Oversees Marketing, Client Relations and Systems Management. Has hands on work experience in almost every facet of home construction over the past 30 years. Also a 24 year Veteran of the US Army National Guard where we worked in several areas involving Leadership & Resilience Training, as well as multiple overseas deployments, including Operation Iraqi Freedom.
